The role involves ensuring high-quality software delivery by automating test processes and collaborating closely with development teams to identify and resolve defects efficiently. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Selenium • Write reusable, scalable, and maintainable automation test scripts • Execute functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing • Collaborate with developers to ensure testability and product quality • Analyze test execution results and prepare detailed test reports • Identify defects, log bugs, and track them using JIRA or similar tools • Perform API testing and validation using REST Assured or similar tools • Continuously improve test coverage and reduce manual testing effort Required Skills • Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver • Proficiency in Java • Experience with Page Object Model (POM) and data-driven frameworks • Experience in API testing (REST Assured or equivalent) • Knowledge of Git or other version control systems • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills Good to Have Skills • Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments • Domain knowledge in fintech or payment systems • Basic SQL knowledge for backend validation Tools & Technologies Selenium WebDriver | TestNG | Java | REST Assured | JIRA | Git Desired Candidate Profile • Strong ownership and accountability • Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment • Attention to detail and quality-first mindset • Strong communication and team collaboration skills
