Job Title: Ombudsman Officer
Location: Mumbai, India
Reports to: Reserve Bank of India (RBI) & CEO

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer complaints and disputes, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Receive, investigate, and resolve complaints in a fair, impartial, and transparent manner, in compliance with RBI guidelines and regulations.
- Act as an independent mediator to facilitate communication and resolution between parties.
- Conduct thorough and objective investigations into complaints, gathering relevant information and evidence.
- Document complaints, investigations, and resolutions in accordance with RBI requirements.
- Provide regular updates and reports to RBI on complaint resolution activities, including metrics, trends, and outcomes.
- Liaise with RBI and other regulatory authorities to address complaints and provide updates on resolution efforts.
- Promote awareness of the RBI ombudsman process and ensure accessibility to customers.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a customer service, dispute resolution, or ombudsman role, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Knowledge of RBI guidelines and regulations related to complaint handling and dispute resolution.
