Job Title: Cyber Security Officer
Location: Mumbai, India
Reports to: Chief Technology Off
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor a strategic, comprehensive enterprise information security and IT risk management program Design and implement security protocols to protect company data, networks, and systems
Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities
Respond to security incidents, conducting thorough investigations and implementing corrective actions
Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations, such as PCI-DSS
Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and technology trends
Train and educate staff on information security best practices
Develop and enforce information security policies and procedures
Manage security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus software
Collaborate with other departments to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of the business

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus
5+ years of experience in cyber security or a related role, preferably in the fintech or financial services industry
Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable

Desired Skills:
Strong understanding of current threat landscape and attack vectors
Proficiency in security frameworks, risk management, and regulatory compliance
Experience with security incident response and forensic investigation
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency in using security tools and technologies
